Welsh Microgeneration Report
SummitSkills project-managed the report at the request of the Welsh Assembly Government, in conjunction with Sector Skills Council Energy and Utility Skills, to assess the microgeneration requirements of the renewable energy sector in Wales.

Feasibility Study
SummitSkills will be working with partners to develop a micro generation training programme following a report commissioned by the North West Development Agency (NWDA). The feasibility study investigated establishing a centre of excellence for installers of micro CHP systems and small-scale renewable energy technologies in the domestic sector. The study concluded that there is no need for a new learning centre but better provision from the existing centres will be required.


Skills for Business supporting Region Energy leads
Representatives from Sector Skills Councils, have provided input to the three Energy Saving Trust facilitated workshops, for the leads from Regional Development Agencies across England.

The Sussex Energy Group have published a report which looks at the how microgeneration might be deployed and explores policies to support investment by consumers and energy suppliers. The report states that policy makers must support diverse routes to microgeneration deployment and that incentives are needed for customers and energy suppliers. More Infomation
