Guidance on offering the qualification
If you are a college or training centres and want to offer the City & Guilds 6084 or another approved Energy Efficiency for Domestic Heating certificate you will need to:
1) Contact us saying you wish to offer the qualification. Telephone 01908 303960 or email: energyefficiency@skills4business.org.uk
2) Register as a new user to gain full access to the Training Centres section of this site
3) Download the information sheet for more information on becoming an approved centre.
4) Once you're a registered user, download relevant information and order forms from our secure web area.
5) Apply to us or the appropriate certification organisation to attend the 'Train the Trainers' programme - more info on Train the Trainers...
6) Apply for scheme approval from your certification body.
7) On receipt of scheme approval, call our telephone helpline (08080 222 111) in order to get your centre details on our database. Your information will be provided to callers in your area wanting to undertake the qualification. You can also email your details to ana.santidrian@hotcourses.com
8) Funding for training is only provided for qualifications listed on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF). Non-funded centres should charge an agreed rate - please contact Rob Wellman on 01744 616465 for more information.
